Designers: Let's Talk Negative Space.

Let's discuss a different kind of "negative space" ––and no, not the client-feedback kind that makes you want to bang your head against your MacBook. 😆

Ask yourself a few key questions...

🌟 When was the last time your job truly excited you?

🥰 Do you feel respected and confident in your role?

😍 Do they value your opinion and creative ideas?

🎨 Do they treat you like an expert in your creative field?

If you truly can't remember a time when you felt this way, then there are definitely a few things you should know...

1. Allowing a negative or toxic situation to make you doubt your creative talent and abilities is the worst place for a creative to be, because you begin to lose your confidence, your creative spark, AND the reasons why you began this career in the first place.

2. You don't have to accept less. Because you are worth more. What you want to put into the world is unique and valuable. Creatives are not meant to just grind it out, day after day, feeling uninspired and numb. There IS a brighter future out there for you.

3. I've been there too, and I know how hard it is to find the road out when you've completely lost sight of the horizon, and your creativity, confidence, and determination has taken hit after hit.

This is also precisely WHY I do what I do. I want you to have the support and guidance to get back to that place that makes you feel vibrant and alive as a creative individual. I want you to move toward a better future full of creativity, respect, and excitement (remember those? You will. 😉). No more negative space. 💖
